SUPPORTED PHONES
We have a good idea, that the following phone models will work with our J2ME reader. If you are wondering if the reader will work with a specific phone not listed here, refer to our support page. There may be other compatible models than we are not yet aware of.
We will be adding more phones as we upgrade our software, and as more new models become available.

After downloading the reader to your desktop, you must install the reader by transferring it to your phone via Bluetooth, or by data cable. The application will automatically install itself if it is able to run on your phone.
The reader was developed for newer Java-based phones running the most recent Java specifications. In order to run propperly, the application requires the following:
- The phone's Java specification must be CLDC 1.1 and MIDP 2.0.
- The application must be allowed access to the camera, which is not enabled on all phones.
- The phone must have MMAPI support for the camera.
Absolutely! Even though you might not be able to read the Smartpox other people are creating, you can still create your own, and post them for other people to find. Also, we are in the process of adding new site features, and upgrading our Java reader. Who knows, you may choose to upgrade your phone, or we may soon have a version that will work on your current phone. Join the Smartpox community now, and you'll be alerted when new features or upgrades are added.
